We’re Island surveyors, but we also serve the southern counties providing Building Surveys and valuations for the majority of forms of construction and with over forty years of combined experience can advise on all eras of property from listed buildings, Historic, Georgian, Victorian and Edwardian buildings to post war and modern. Specialising in Listed and historic buildings, we also provide services for owners of those buildings to effect repairs and deal with Listed building consent.
As well as our surveying experience, we have over forty years of hands-on construction experience and practice so are well positioned to deal with Contractors for Clients and regularly assist them in all forms of construction including appointing Contractors, Project Management, Contracting Administration, or even assisting with disputes and defect analysis.
Property purchase surveys and selling is a hugely busy area for us at the moment and we’re also dealing with the management of loft conversions, extensions and new builds. Covid-19 has made the market apprehensive and so we’re adapting our business accordingly to deal with all of the various issues that have come up as a result. There’s been a definite upturn in the market, with people looking to relocate to the Island or change their circumstances, but there are also others who are happy to stay where they are and extend and renovate what they’ve got. I think that the pandemic has put things into perspective for many people regarding working from home and so, many are looking to maximise the space that they already have without moving and this is an area that we can also assist with.
